Through the grace of God and the fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous I have not used any mind altering chemical in more than 31 years. (June 2016)
For the first approximately 10 years I went to many meetings and was very involved in servicework. Over time I've gone to fewer and fewer meetings but am fortunate to be able to recognize when I need to return to meetings. I feel this awareness is due to the foundation built those first years. I do not recomend 'laying off' meetings. I recently asked a gentleman to be my sponsor as he is much healthier than I emotionally & spiritually. Over the years he has continued with attending many meetings.
A few years ago I built this website out gratitude for AA once again returning me to sanity. I had remained sober but 'the crazies' were definetly present.
I was going to dismantle this site but because of a few emails received I decided to leave it up but with a facelift.
In early sobriety I acquired many tapes of AA circuit speakers as well as several local speakers. They were and still are very helpful as well as entertaining. Recently more have been added. Click the 'Audio' link
There are three pages under the Video link. These are all of Bill Wilson.
There are also three pages under rhe Big Book link. One is text, another audio. The third are scans of the first 164 pages from the 4 editions. This to emphasize that those first pages have not changed.
The literature page has AA and AA related literature which I personally own.
Then there is a personal page where I intend to write some of some of my own story.
Finally there is informatoin on how to contact me as I really enjoy hearing from people using my site. Suggestions for the site is welcome. Criticism also, but please be nice.
