Through the grace of God and the fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous I have not used any mind altering chemical in more than 24 years.
For the last several years I've pretty much ignored AA, attending a meeting or two only when some kind of emotional stress becomes especially troublesome.
Lately I've felt the need to once again become involved. In early sobriety I acquired many tapes of AA circuit speakers as well as several local speakers. They were and still are very helpful as well as entertaining. I'm converting them to mp3 format and making available here for download or just listening. Enjoy!
Someplace I acquired the "Big Book" in web page format for reading. I also have the BB as audio mp3. That is available for listening or download.
Video is a hobby so became excited when I came across some old videos of Bill and Lois Wilson telling their stories. They are on the Video pages.
My father gave me his 1st edition copy of the BB ,15th printing. The second edition was in use when I first attempted the program in 1971, (didn't take). The third when I finally was able to grasp the program. And fourth edition a few years ago. I've made the first 164 pages of each edition available for side by side comparison.
